Registration
The welcome part depends on lots of criterions: place, different kind of public, badge or not, information you want in, free ticket or not…
For the OuiShare Fest 2016, we choose 2 providers: one for subscription (Eventbrite), one for badge editing, due to budget and planning issues. We recommend to have one for the 2 parts.
Subscription:
- define the different kind of attendees you will have (speaker, team, press, attendee), and different kind of tickets (1 or 3 day, partners, early-early bird, early bird, volunteer, partner, provider, community partners…) → it depends of your communication and budget strategy
- define information you need (ie if you have badge) and want (for report after the event), so you ask for them at the subscription
Badge editing:
- as we had 2 providers in 2016, badges have been edited just before the event, and sent to attendees twice: 1 week & 1 day, so that they could print the badge and come with (not queuing to enter)
